ABOUT THE HOST
Dr. Veronica Bloomfield
Interview people I love,
About books they love,
In honor of my father.
Dr. Bloomfield is an educator and consultant who is passionate about reading and writing and the arts. She grew up in a multicultural community amidst a family of storytellers.
As a child, she would watch her father, a professor of philosophy, talk with his students about a range of topics from ethics to world religions. It was in these experiences where she developed an appreciation for cross-cultural conversations as pathways to transformative experiences.
When her father passed away in 2021, she started This Book Matters to celebrate books and reading in his honor.
